One Emerge Showcase
Our season finale. Dancers perform a routine for every style they’ve learned, from ballet and tap to hip hop and acro, on a grand stage for friends and family.
Show groupings, dress rehearsal times and class details are posted on the show schedule each spring. Questions? Ask your teacher or the front desk.
Tickets
- Tickets go on sale online in May. Seating is reserved, first come, first served.
- All accounts must be paid in full to purchase showcase tickets.
- Ticket sales are managed by a third-party service, and all purchases are non-refundable. If the event is canceled, tickets will be refunded.
- Dancers do not need a ticket.
- Dancers who perform in more than one show receive a code for matching tickets to their second show, free.
Costumes & tights
Costumes are handed out in May as they arrive. Please try them on right away, before leaving the studio. Costumes aren’t custom fitted, so minor alterations are the responsibility of the dancer’s family. If you have a major concern, let your teacher know as soon as possible. Accounts must be up to date to receive costumes. Ballet/Tap classes receive one pair of tights with their costume.
Dress rehearsals
Dress rehearsals are held at the theater the week of the show. Each class has an assigned time. Dancers come dressed in their first costume with tights and dance shoes; hair and makeup are optional. Dancers stay for their rehearsal time and may leave afterward.
Showcase merch
Showcase T-shirts, flower bouquets, collectible Emerge stuffed animals and the showcase digital media package are available to pre-order in our online shop in mid-to-late May, for pickup on show day. Quantities are limited, so we recommend pre-ordering.
