Ballet/Tap 3 · 30 min
A 30-minute beginner tap and ballet combo class that brings creative movement into a more structured studio setting. Focus on dance vocabulary and basic steps.

Ballet/Tap 4
Incorporates more proper dance steps, with focus on dance vocabulary, basic steps and correct form.

Ballet/Tap 5
Continues the fundamentals at a faster pace. Introduces basic jazz steps and begins to put steps into combinations.

Ballet/Tap 6
Introduces more styles of dance, with more jazz steps and more complex combinations.
What to expect
Learning that feels like play
Classes are designed to be both educational and fun. Themed curriculum weeks, updated age-appropriate music and props keep your little one excited to come back.
A better experience at Emerge
- Every class is taught by an experienced instructor.
- Classes are limited to 10 dancers.
- Once a class reaches 4 dancers, we add an assistant instructor.
- Watch class on the lobby viewing monitors.
Two performances a year
Preschool dancers perform in our Christmas Showcase in December and the One Emerge Showcase in June, in a professional theater with full costumes and makeup.

When can my dancer join?
Open registration for preschool classes runs July–October and January–March. Our curriculum is designed so dancers can join any time during those windows.
Do preschoolers really perform on stage?
Yes! They perform in the Christmas Showcase in December and the One Emerge Showcase in June. Costumes are included in the performance package.
Which class is right for my child?
Classes are grouped by age, so most dancers join the class that matches their age. Call the office if you’re unsure.
