WHITE OAK TEAMS
Dancers will audition in-person in small groupings based on their age as of 1/1/2027. The dates and times of each age grouping is listed below. Dancers will attend a session at the studio to learn the audition routines, practice at home, and return to audition in front of our coaches and judges. Dancers will also be asked to demonstrate a set of skills listed below. Prior to auditioning, every dancer must complete an online audition form. Click below to complete your dancers audition form.
AGES 4-5 (as of 1/1/2027) – Mighty Mini Dancers
Audition date 5/31/2026 from 9:00-9:45am. Dancers will participate in a short class to determine their readiness to join the team. At this age we are not looking at specific skills but instead, are they willing to participate, learn, and have fun.
AGES 5-6 (as of 1/1/2027)
Your dancer should be at the studio on 5/26/2026 from 6:00-7:00pm in Room E to learn two audition combos:
- HH/Jazz 6:00-6:30pm (jazz/ballet shoes…if your dancer is new and does not have shoes, barefoot is fine!)
- Tap 6:30-7:00pm (tap shoes)
Audition date 5/31/2026 from 9:45-10:30am in Room E. The order for their placement audition will be:
- Warmup/Skills-Right, left, and center splits/Right single turn/Right leap
- Hip Hop/Jazz Combo
- Tap Combo
AGES 7-9 (as of 1/1/2027)
Your dancer should be at the studio on 5/26/2026 from 7:00-8:30pm in Room E to learn three audition combos:
- 7:00-7:30pm Jazz (jazz/half soles/ballet shoes)
- 7:30-8:00pm Hip Hop (jazz/gym shoes)
- 8:00-8:30pm Tap (tap shoes)
Audition date 5/31/2026 from 10:30-11:30am in Room E. The order for their audition will be:
- Warmup/Skills- Right, left, and center splits/Right, Left single turn/Right, Left leap
- Jazz Combo
- Hip Hop Combo
- Tap Combo & Skills- Single time step/Double shuffles/Paradiddles/Drawbacks/Pullbacks
AGES 10-12 (as of 1/1/2027)
Your dancer should be at the studio on 5/27/2026 from 5:00-6:30pm in Room E to learn three audition combos:
- 5:00-5:30pm Hip Hop (jazz/gym shoes)
- 5:30-6:00pm Jazz (jazz/half soles)
- 6:00-6:30pm Contemporary/Lyrical (jazz/half soles)
Audition date 5/31/2026 from 11:30am-12:30pm in Room E. The order for their audition will be:
- Warmup/Skills- Right, left, and center splits/Right, Left single & double turn/Right, Left leap/ Right, Left chaines
- Contemporary/Lyrical Combo
- Jazz Combo
- Hip Hop Combo
- Tap Skills (bring tap shoes)- Time steps/Cincinnatians/Drawbacks/Single & Double pullbacks/Maxi Ford turns
AGES 13 & Up (as of 1/1/2027)
Your dancer should be at the studio on 5/27/2026 from 6:30-8:00pm in Room E to learn three audition combos:
- 6:30-7:00pm Contemporary/Lyrical (jazz/half soles)
- 7:00-7:30pm Jazz (jazz/half soles)
- 7:30-8:00pm Hip Hop (jazz/gym shoes)
Audition date 5/31/2026 from 12:30-1:30pm in Room E. The order for their placement audition will be:
- Warmup/Skills- Right, left, and center splits/Right, Left double & triple turn/Right, Left, Center leap
- Contemporary/Lyrical Combo
- Jazz Combo
- Hip Hop Combo
- Tap Skills- Will be given skills to demonstrate at auditions
HARRISON TEAM
Dancers will audition in-person in small groupings based on their age as of 1/1/2027. The auditions will be held on 5/30/26 from 11:15am-12:30 m. Dancers will be taught a short jazz/hip-hop combination to perform for the judges. Dancers will also be asked to demonstrate a set of skills listed below.
